Lessons from the Browns draft

1. Stick to your principles - The Browns chose a Quarterback in the third round that many people thought wouldn't be drafted at all.  The Browns value accuracy in a QB, and it's hard to argue that.

2. Admit you don't know it all - They took a total of five wide receivers.  One will be a tight end, but there are still 4 more wide outs.  From a pure numbers standpoint, not all will make the team.  But the Browns admitted they were woefully thin in this area, and in effect admitted that they (life every other team in the NFL) don't have a crystal ball.  They stocked up on receivers, and will figure it out over the next few months.  (They did something similar with pass rushers, but I'm willing to bet that all of them make the team).
