Why I like smoking ribs

It's a project.
They taste delicious when done.
I can make them "healthier" by cutting some fat and creating my own low sodium rub.
The hickory smoke makes things smell good.
I can do a lot of other tasks while I'm smoking ribs - like updating my blog.
It's really hard to mess them up.
I can do other experiments while grilling - like smoking chicken, and then doing hot dogs.
