The 2016 Peterloon campout was a huge success.  It will probably be remembered for one important thing:  No rain!  After the monsoon in 2014 this is a huge improvement.

I spent Saturday afternoon hanging out with my son Tom.  By the time I caught up with him he had already welded an eagle, and collected all kinds of swag from the events, including a stuffed frog.

The stuffed frog was a used and somewhat nasty thing, but Tom loved it.  When we got home he cleaned it up.  Then he noticed it had a battery pack.  After putting fresh batteries in we made it talk.  It had a few cute sayings.

While we were playing with it Beth looked it up online.  It turned out to be a 1998 talking bull frog toy.  (So it's older than Tom).  New in box it goes for $50.

Tom needs to become a picker.
